 The staff and students of TRUCE Learning Center attended a round-table discussion to honor Tracy Gallman for her dedication to the students and staff of Castleberry ISD. Mrs. Gallman was given a tour of TRUCE, and the students were given an opportunity to explain how TRUCE Learning Center works and the positive impact it has had on their lives.
Mrs. Gallman took time to explain what the Board of Trustees does and the types of decisions they make at each School Board Meeting. In addition,
Mrs. Gallman also explained how she originally started as a CISD parent volunteer, and how that eventually led her to run for the CISD Board of Trustees in 2002.
Each student wrote a brief thank you to Mrs. Gallman, and she was presented with a framed certificate and engraved pen and pencil set. Chris McGrath, Director of TRUCE, said “We appreciate her taking time out of her busy schedule to visit with us, and we thank her, and the CISD Board, for their support of the Alternative Educational Programs in Castleberry ISD.”
